  1. Tosh. I recently discovered your books and was intrigued by them. I was a student of yours in 1978 at the 414th FWS. One particular mission on the recovery we were skirting the west side of the test range and I made the remark Hey Tosh someone is dropping live. There was a circular dust cloud on the ground that in my mind looked like a MK 82 detonation. Only one which was strange but on with the RTB. The next day it was announced that a device had been detonated on the test range. Well actually detonated well underground. Quite an interesting event. Thanks for your great novels I really enjoy your work. After the school house I went in to a full 20 year career, had an exchange tour with Canada flying the 104 and down the line flew 201 MiG 21 sorties in the Red Eagles. Helluva career for a survivor of the school house.

    Thanks Tosh
