  1. These are great insights, Tosh. I think — if I may be so bold as to offer an opinion — that another question you should consider is whether your novels should or could be a continuous saga, or related, but not necessarily sequential, episodes of a wider Drama. I am a fan of Lee Child and his Reacher novels. All his novels feature the Reacher character ferreting out evil and despicable guys (even despicable gals) as he follows his natural quest to do “what is right.” Not unlike Nick Phillips, Jack Reacher brings unique talents and experiences to situations few of us can truly imagine.
    This would make an excellent conversational centerpiece for a couple hours and a good pinot noir. Shall we try to get together sometime during the up coming holidays?
